Margherita M. Albarello graduated with high honors from Illinois Institute of Technology/Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1984 where she was a member of the law review. Margherita specializes in employee and management-side employment law and has extensive experience representing parties in cases involving claims of wrongful discharge based on sex, age, race, disability, and retaliation, trade secret violations and unfair competition, and breach of contract. Margherita provides advice and guidance on a broad range of employment decisions, including high risk terminations, reductions in force, complaints of workplace harassment and the design, implementation, and revision of human resource policies in order to minimize an employer's risk. In addition to her employment law practice, she frequently represents parties in commercial law and litigation matters. Margherita provides pro bono services to a Chicago-based disability rights non-profit corporation.
